CupKate is a women-owned and LGBTQ+-friendly vegan bakery established in 2018 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, specializing in vegan and allergy-friendly cupcakes and cakes. The owner, Kate, launched the business after Wisconsin’s Cookie Bill allowed home bakers to sell their goods to the public, and the bakery has become known for its moist cakes and accommodating custom orders for special events. CupKate was a finalist for Best Cupcakes in the Shepherd Express Best of Milwaukee 2020 awards and serves the greater Milwaukee community with a focus on dietary inclusivity and personalized service.
