Essie’s Sweet Shoppe is a treat shop located at 101 E. Brockway Avenue in Morgantown, WV, offering hand-dipped premium ice cream from Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, Kona shaved ice, cookie shots, and other frozen desserts. Opened in 2022 by Esmail “Essie” Monazam and his wife Sherry, the shop builds on the family’s nearly 10 years of experience in the frozen confection business dating back to their 2013 Kona Ice franchise investment. The shop features a pet-friendly back deck overlooking Deckers Creek with both indoor and outdoor seating, and offers dietary-inclusive options such as soy-based vegan ice cream.
