Austin’s at The Market

Austin’s at The Market is a family-owned homemade ice cream shop located at 809 3rd Ave in downtown Huntington, WV, serving the community since 1947 when the original shop opened in Ceredo. The Huntington location opened in 2017 as the business’s second location, run and co-owned by Taylor Strickland and Timothy Ruff, grandchildren of original owner Joyce Snyder. Austin’s is known for its quality homemade ice cream, pies, and sweet treats, and the family actively gives back to the community through initiatives like fundraisers supporting local animal shelters.
