Wanyen

Wanyen is an Asian-inspired ice cream and dessert café located at 378 W Broadway in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Founded by Jade Ganrayanapoj, who emigrated from Thailand in 2012 and transitioned from a tech career to pursue her passion, the shop began as a side project before opening its first brick-and-mortar location in May 2025. Wanyen specializes in premium, handcrafted ice cream made in small batches using real fruit and no artificial sweeteners, featuring unique Asian flavors such as mango sticky rice, Thai tea, and durian, along with in-house made desserts and specialty drinks.
