Kafe’ Mamai

Kafé Mamai is an African and Caribbean fusion restaurant located at 49 East Gallivan Avenue in Salt Lake City, Utah, operated by Chef Abudujannah, who moved to Utah in 2016 from Lamu, Kenya. The business began in 2017 as a catering operation, expanded to a food truck in 2019, and opened its brick-and-mortar restaurant in September 2023, serving halal cuisine with signature dishes like jerk chicken, green mango chicken curry, and fried whole red snapper. The restaurant offers casual dining with both dine-in and takeout options, operating Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
