Hatch Family Chocolates

Hatch Family Chocolates, located in Salt Lake City’s historic Avenues neighborhood at 376 E 8th Ave, is a locally owned chocolate shop that has been delighting customers for over 100 years. Run by a couple trained in traditional American chocolate dipping and confection making, the shop specializes in handcrafted chocolates, chocolate-covered strawberries, caramel apples, milkshakes, and locally-made ice creams. The business gained wider recognition through appearances on television, including the TLC show, and has been recognized by Yelp as one of the top 20 places in the U.S. to order hot chocolate.
