Eats Bakery & Coffee

Eats Bakery & Coffee is a fully vegan bakery and coffee shop in downtown Salt Lake City owned by army veterans Kandy and Byron Tesen. Opened in June 2025, the business specializes in fresh-baked donuts, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches, and house-roasted coffee using simple, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. The couple transitioned from military service to entrepreneurship, growing their operation from farmers markets and pop-ups to their current location in a restored 1920s building at 248 E 100 S, where they serve as a community gathering space for students, nonprofit leaders, and neighborhood residents.
