Farm Life Creamery

Farm Life Creamery, located in Ethan, South Dakota, handcrafts small-batch artisan cheese and bottles farm-fresh Grade A milk from the family’s Holstein herd, operating as the only small, on-farm, Grade A-licensed bottling plant in South Dakota. Founded by Chad and Laura after learning cheesemaking from Valley Side Farm Cheese in Crooks, the creamery produces cheese curds in over 40 flavors along with varieties including cheddar, Gruyère, mozzarella, and their signature Chocolate Cheddar, while bottling minimally processed, nonhomogenized milk using a low-and-slow pasteurization method. Beyond dairy products, Farm Life Creamery is dedicated to preserving rural America and educating the community through free creamery tours, an 18-hole mini-golf course, petting zoo, playground, and welcoming school field trips, family gatherings, company picnics, and birthday parties.
