The business was founded in 2016 by Westerly natives Sam and Pete, who were inspired by their passion for surfing and healthy living on the West Coast and Hawaiian Islands; the business later transitioned to cousin Rose in 2021. High Tide prioritizes sourcing local and organic ingredients whenever possible and prepares everything fresh in-house, supporting the community as a go-to spot for healthy breakfast and lunch options.
