Tricycle Ice Cream

Tricycle Ice Cream is a Providence-based ice cream shop specializing in small-batch, seasonally inspired ice cream sandwiches, tacos, cones, and sorbet pushpops. Founded in spring 2014 by Rhode Island native David Cass and Johnson & Wales University graduate Gio Salvador, the business initially operated as a mobile vendor with a rolling freezer before opening a brick-and-mortar storefront at 70 Battey Street in January 2019. The shop is known for using quality ingredients like Callebaut chocolate and organic cream to create unique flavor combinations and has been recognized as one of the best ice cream places in the United States.
