Hail Snail is a vegan, queer, family-owned cinnamon roll bakery located at 6550 N Interstate Avenue in Portland’s Arbor Lodge neighborhood. Established in 2019 as a pop-up business, the shop relocated to its current brick-and-mortar location in 2020, offering customizable cinnamon rolls with over 25 toppings and gluten-free and soy-free options. The business prioritizes community values through fair trade chocolate, naturally derived colors, and 100% vegan ingredients, while actively advocating for social change and supporting the neighborhood community that has backed them since opening.
