Feral

Feral is a plant-based restaurant in Portland’s Vernon neighborhood that specializes in vegan and vegetable-forward innovative cuisine featuring Pacific Northwest produce. Founded by chefs August Winningham and Ryan Koger and launched as a permanent restaurant in November 2023 at 1640 NE Killingsworth Street, Feral operates four days a week with a seasonally rotating menu and prix fixe dining format. The restaurant prioritizes community and inclusivity, hosting pop-ups for local chefs and makers while maintaining sustainable practices through fermentation and minimal waste techniques, and features natural wines and local breweries.
