Founded by Caroline Weingart, a former attorney inspired by her daughter Lizzie’s peanut and tree nut allergy diagnosed at age two, the bakery began as a home-based operation during the COVID-19 pandemic and opened as a brick-and-mortar location to provide safe dessert options for families with nut allergies. The bakery also offers cookie-making classes and community engagement through local partnerships and farmers market pop-ups.
