Plant Cakes Bake Shop is a 100% plant-based, organic bakery located at 410 S. White Street in downtown Wake Forest, NC, offering fresh-baked desserts, espresso drinks, smoothies, and dairy-free ice cream with a daily-changing menu. Established in 2020 by Mark Deskus and Jess Reilly, it is the first animal product-free bakery in the Triangle region and has become a community destination attracting visitors from across North Carolina while supporting the vibrancy of downtown Wake Forest through collaborations with regional plant-based businesses and catering services for weddings and wholesale orders.
