Even Dough Bakery

Even Dough is a chef-led, family-owned artisanal bakery and café located at 203 W Weaver Street in Carrboro, North Carolina, specializing in custom cakes, pastries, croissants, babkas, and challahs. Founded in 2020 by professional pastry chef Meital Cohen—originally from Israel who previously owned a bakery and café in New York and managed Westville restaurant group’s bakery operations—the business began as a home-based operation during the pandemic before opening its physical café location in September 2025. Beyond offering baked goods, Even Dough enriches the community through regular baking and cake decorating classes taught twice weekly, welcoming participants of all skill levels to enhance their baking abilities.
