Green Street Food Truck is Long Island’s first vegan and gluten-free food truck, launched in 2018 by founder Matt Weaver, a former health and physical education teacher who transitioned to promoting plant-based eating after his own dietary transformation. The business has won numerous awards, including Long Island’s Best Food Truck, and operates from Levittown, NY, serving a diverse menu of plant-based tacos, fries, mac and cheese, smoothies, and handmade donuts while also offering catering and private event services. In 2021, the owners expanded with Green Street Eatery, an accompanying brick-and-mortar restaurant location in Levittown that features an expanded vegan and gluten-free menu while maintaining the food truck’s commitment to providing high-quality, wholesome plant-based meals to the community.
