Mata G Vegetarian Kitchen is a plant-based restaurant located in Albuquerque’s Nob Hill neighborhood at 116 Amherst Drive SE, founded in 2018 by Gurubachan Kaur Khalsa. The restaurant serves globally-inspired vegetarian and vegan meals, salads, soups, sandwiches, and baked goods in a grab-and-go format, along with catering services and prepared meals available at partner establishments throughout New Mexico. Beyond its culinary mission, Mata G donates thousands of pounds of food annually across New Mexico and sources ingredients from local growers including the Sikh community farm in Española, reflecting its commitment to nourishing the community it serves.
