Established in April 2022, The Hopper Kitchen & Market is a family-owned restaurant located at 40 North Last Chance Gulch in downtown Helena, Montana, specializing in scratch-made dishes crafted from locally-sourced Montana ingredients. Owners Dan and Chelsi Bay drew on their Montana roots and hospitality experience to create an ever-evolving menu featuring both meat and vegetarian options, along with a market offering Montana-made products and beverages. The restaurant is named after Grasshopper Creek, where gold was first discovered in Montana in 1862, and supports local farms, ranches, and businesses through its commitment to celebrating the flavors and abundance of the Treasure State.
