SweetArt Bakeshop & Cafe has been a beloved St. Louis institution since 2008, serving 100% plant-based savory eats and sweet treats made from scratch from its original location in the Shaw neighborhood at 3701 Lindell Boulevard. Co-owned by chef Reine Keis and artist Cbabi Bayoc (her husband), the bakeshop combines exceptional vegan cuisine with rotating local artwork and menu items creatively named after iconic Black female authors and creatives. The establishment has expanded with a second location, SweetArt Too, at City Foundry STL, bringing its plant-based offerings to a wider audience while remaining committed to making accessible, high-quality vegan food.
