Root to Rise Kitchen

Root to Rise Kitchen is a Minneapolis-based, plant-based catering and food business founded in 2016 by Heather Klein. Specializing in 100% vegan cuisine made from scratch using high-quality, mostly organic ingredients, the business serves customers through farmers markets, pop-up events, catering services, and private chef experiences. Known for its innovative approach to plant-based cooking and community involvement, Root to Rise previously operated a plant-based restaurant from 2023–2025 and launched the Plant-Based Pop-Up Market to increase food access in underserved communities.
