Lutunji’s Palate

Lutunji’s Palate is a Black-woman-owned social enterprise bakery and cafe located at 1400 Park Avenue South in the Elliott Park neighborhood of Minneapolis. Founded by Lutunji Abram and opened in 2022, the business serves gourmet desserts, breakfast, and lunch items including both traditional and vegan options, with the signature peach cobbler serving as its flagship offering. Beyond its role as a gathering place for community healing, Lutunji’s Palate operates as a social enterprise that partners with youth and young adult programs to teach baking and business skills while providing employment and life skills development opportunities for teen parents, young adults, and individuals returning to society.
