2 Phat Vegans

2 Phat Vegans is a fully vegan New Orleans soul food restaurant serving creative plant-based versions of local classics including hot sausage po’boys, jerk chicken wraps, and loaded mac and cheese. Established in 2022 (formerly known as Plant Bass Vegan Deli), the Black-owned restaurant is located in the French Quarter and is run by owner Corey Mathis, who developed the restaurant’s signature vegan sausage recipe to satisfy his personal mission of maintaining the flavors he grew up on while living vegan.
