Gails Fine Ice Cream

Gail’s Fine Ice Cream, located at 3025 Perkins Road in Baton Rouge, is a specialty ice cream shop serving 16 rotating flavors of small batch artisan ice cream alongside fresh waffle cones, sundaes, shakes, and specialty coffee drinks made with French Truck Coffee. Opened in March 2021 by co-owners Nick Hufft and Lon Marchand, the shop was developed by executive pastry chef Rachel Caprera and designed to evoke nostalgic charm with whimsical décor and a welcoming atmosphere. The Baton Rouge location serves as the prototype for future Gail’s locations and emphasizes locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients in its carefully crafted ice cream offerings.
