Summer Salt Ice Cream Company is a chef-owned ice cream shop located in Corinth Square at 4051 Somerset Dr in Prairie Village that has been serving 100% natural homemade ice cream since June 2020. Owners Curtis and Amy Thurston, both with hospitality backgrounds, are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and catering to customers with dietary restrictions by offering numerous gluten-free options including gluten-free waffle cones and over 10 vegan ice cream flavors. The shop features both classic and specialty flavors made fresh daily, including unique options like Lavender and Honey made with local honey, and has expanded to include additional locations in Leawood and Overland Park.
