Tlaolli

Tlaolli is a vegan-friendly Mexican restaurant located at 2830 E. Washington Street in Indianapolis’s Englewood neighborhood. Owner Carlos Hutchinson and his daughters opened the restaurant in 2013 as a tamale takeout shop under the Englewood Community Development Corporation (ECDC) before expanding into a full-service establishment offering signature tamales, traditional Mexican dishes, and innovative vegan options like vegan birria. The restaurant gained national recognition when it was featured on the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” in August 2024 and has been recognized by Yelp as one of the top 100 taco spots in the United States.
