Leviathan Bakehouse is an artisan bakery and sandwich café located at 1101 N College Ave in Indianapolis’s Chatham Arch neighborhood, combining old-world craftsmanship with a modern point of view. The bakery, opened in 2021 by pastry chef Pete Schmutte, offers fresh bread, viennoiserie, specialty coffee, and handcrafted pastries, while also serving breakfast sandwiches and lunch items made with quality local ingredients. The business has demonstrated community commitment, having raised over $3,000 for Bakers Against Racism during its opening week preview event.
