Fire & Ice Café

Fire & Ice Café, located at 6211 Allisonville Road, is Indianapolis’s first entirely gluten-free café, established in 2024 by owner Lara Cooney. Inspired by her family members’ celiac disease diagnoses, the café offers a menu of fresh-baked goods, sandwiches, crêpes, and Euro-American dishes influenced by Cooney’s German heritage, with ingredients sourced from local suppliers like Smoking Goose. The boutique café is dedicated to making gluten-free dining accessible to everyone while also accommodating seven major allergens.
