Runaway Cow

Runaway Cow is a 100% vegan soft serve ice cream shop located at 608 W 31st St in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood. Co-owners Alison and Aaron serve nostalgic ice cream treats including oat milk-based soft serve, dipped cones, sundaes, shakes, and candy-filled Snowstorms, along with classic Chicago food items. The shop, now in its third season of operation, has become a community favorite known for its welcoming atmosphere, high-quality plant-based desserts, and colorful storefront that reflects the vibrant neighborhood it serves.
