Ingrained is a vegan snack shop located at 108 W Chicago Ave in downtown Chicago, established in 2019 by founder Sydney Verwilst who transitioned from corporate finance to create healthy, delicious treats. The business specializes in 100% vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free snacks including their signature frozen functional superfood bars, cakes, and cookies made with natural and adaptogenic ingredients. Founded as a pop-up in summer 2019, Ingrained has intentionally remained a small operation, turning down expansion opportunities to maintain quality and creative control while serving the Chicago community.
