bettyBOT Shop is a 100% vegan, gluten-free bakery located at 7100 S South Shore Drive in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood. Founded by Betty Alper, who previously sold her goods at farmers markets around Chicago, the shop opened its brick-and-mortar location in 2017. The bakery specializes in cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and pastries that accommodate multiple dietary restrictions, including being corn-free and nightshade-free, while using almost all organic ingredients and partnering with local farms for sourcing.
