Certified Kitchen and Bakery

Certified Kitchen + Bakery is a neighborhood cafe located at 1511 N 13th St in Boise’s Hyde Park district, serving breakfast, lunch, craft coffee, and house-made pastries and whole cakes. Owned by Lizzy and David Rex, who also operate The Wylder restaurant, the business opened in a historic building formerly occupied by Certified Rug and Furniture Cleaners, a 67-year-old local institution. The cafe features a 52-year-old sourdough starter used in their signature English muffins, breakfast sandwiches, butcher-style sandwiches, salads, and take-and-bake options, all available counter-service style in a cozy space with bar and bistro seating.
