Glizzy’s Vegan Food Company

Glizzys Vegan Food Company is a plant-based restaurant located at 1110 Oak Drive SE in Congress Heights, Washington, DC, specializing in creative vegan hot dogs and other plant-based dishes with D.C.-inspired menu items. Founded by Dontrell Britton and Nathan Headspeth, the company began as a food truck in 2021 before opening its brick-and-mortar location at the Sycamore & Oak Retail Village. Beyond serving high-quality vegan cuisine, Glizzys operates the Glizzys Youth Crew Program, a community initiative that mentors at-risk young people ages 16-21 to create positive impact in the Washington, DC community.
