Mommom’s Ice Cream

Mommom’s Ice Cream is a locally-owned dessert shop located at 900 E Division Street in Dover, Delaware, offering homemade ice cream, fruit smoothies, Belgian waffles, and hand-crafted desserts. Opened in late 2014 after six months of renovations, the shop was inspired by Matt’s grandmother Jane, who had previously operated an ice cream counter at The Little Grocer before the space was lost to business growth. The shop carries a dozen different homemade ice cream flavors made daily in-house alongside a selection of Hershey’s ice cream and other frozen treats, with a mission to become Dover’s favorite dessert destination through small-batch, handcrafted items made with local and seasonal ingredients.
