The Cake Bar

The Cake Bar is Denver’s first Black-owned vegan bakery, located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood at 214 E 13th Ave. Owner Angela Wells created the bakery to provide delicious plant-based cakes and allergen-friendly options for special occasions, offering custom and ready-made vegan cakes, cupcakes, and baked goods without eggs, dairy, or dairy milk. The bakery is known for its commitment to inclusivity, offering certified Kosher and gluten-free options while celebrating its identity as a Black, woman, and LGBTQIA+ owned business dedicated to serving Denver’s community.
