Wild Yeast Kitchen is an artisan bakery established in 2016 that specializes in handcrafted European-style breads, pastries, and bagels made using traditional methods and organic ingredients. Located at 1004 Madison Ave in Montgomery, the bakery operates as a cottage food business offering weekly bread subscriptions, online ordering, and sales at the Montgomery Curb Market on Saturdays, plus local deliveries to the Prattville and Millbrook areas. Founded by Yuliya Childers, a Ukrainian immigrant inspired by the bread traditions of her native country, Wild Yeast Kitchen has earned recognition from Alabama Living magazine and demonstrated significant community commitment by organizing donation efforts for Ukraine since 2022.
