Black Cat Vegan Bakery is a micro bakery located at 105 W Orange Avenue in Foley, Alabama, specializing in small-batch, vegan pastries and baked goods made with locally sourced ingredients. Founded by owner Lindsey Sholes, who started vegan baking for friends with allergies before transitioning to her own dedicated bakery in October 2022, the shop features a rotating bimonthly menu of favorites including brown butter chocolate chunk cookies and dirty chai cinnamon rolls, alongside a matcha bar with housemade syrups and drip coffee. The bakery’s name was inspired by Sholes’ love for black cats and her adoption sanctuary for the misfit cats that often need rescuing.
