Cannella Gelato is an independently owned gelato shop located at 2212 Morris Ave in the Mercantile on Morris building in downtown Birmingham, serving authentic Italian gelato, sorbetto, coffee, and tea. Founded by owners inspired by their travels to Italy, the shop originally opened in Brookwood Mall in January 2020 before relocating to its current location on historic Morris Avenue, offering both signature everyday flavors and rotating seasonal options made with all-natural, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
